In my previous posting about Opera internet browser, I talked about customized start-up dialog. In its default, the start-up dialog will be shown text of “Welcome to Opera”. But did you know this text could be changed as our own text? Ok, today I’ll show you how. Let’s get started…..
- You can show this start-up dialog by set in Opera browser. Open your Opera then click Tools/Preferences or press Ctrl+F12. In the Start-up option, choose Show start-up dialog , click OK.
- Open C:/Program Files/Opera and find file named English.lng. Open this file by left double click or right click/Open with…/Notepad.
- Press Ctrl+F then type “Welcome to Opera” (without quote). Press Enter button twice. You will see the text as shown below. Change text “Welcome to Opera” with your customized own text.
- Save it with Ctrl+S.
- It’s done!! Now, try to re-open your Opera and see the changed.
